The Green Fan
The Green Fan is an EvoSwitch initiative for sites based in their facility. It is a symbol of the effort that has been made to provide a completely carbon neutral datacenter.
All sites showing “The Green Fan” logo are carbon neutral websites.
Greenshift has chosen EvoSwitch in the greater Amsterdam area, as it is one of the few state-of-the-art green co-location hosting centers in Europe. EvoSwitch offers:
The datacenter is surrounded by steel fencing and equipped with VESDA fire detection, an Argon fire extinguisher system, CCTV and biometric access control. The site is monitored and protected 24/7 by professional security guards.
Environmentally Friendly and Energy Efficient
With the help of TNO, EvoSwitch has reduced energy consumption by more than 50 percent. EvoSwitch operates on a climate-neutral basis and cooperates with the Climate Neutral Group, to compensate for non-sustainable energy consumption at EvoSwitch.
Autonomous Power Supply
EvoSwitch has a scalable energy capacity of 20 Megawatts, with a plan to grow to 40 Megawatts. Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), available independent A+B distribution feeds, and N+1 emergency power generators guarantee seamless power in the event of any incident.

EvoSwitch is a leader in innovative cooling methods installing state-of-the-art proven technologies from its inception. These environmentally friendly systems drastically reduce energy consumption; cutting cooling costs and ensuring that your equipment always runs at a constant, safe, ambient temperature.
